Owner & Interior Designer
Elizabeth is passionate about creating the ideal space for each client including all aspects of color, space, lighting, proportion, function and last but not least – style.
Desiring a more personalized client experience and hands on approach to interior design, Elizabeth founded House Dressing Interiors in 2009. House Dressing Interiors includes an interior design team of five with a retail store in the unique Midtown section of Gainesville, Ga. A Georgia bulldog through and through, this entrepreneur received her Bachelor of Family and Consumer Science degree in Furnishings and Interiors from the University of Georgia in 2004 launching her more than 15+ year career in interior design.
Elizabeth believes the design process should be a collaborative effort that results in beautiful, livable space for each client – after all it is their home. To accomplish this goal, it is important to her to establish a relationship with each client that feels comfortable and open. Working closely with each client to form a clear idea of what they envision for their space, Elizabeth dedicates herself to her client’s vision and brings her listening skills, creativity, ethics, professional knowledge and experience to every project, whether large or small.
Elizabeth exudes passion and style with a keen eye for detail in her work, and she willingly carries that dedication and expertise into her community to make a difference in the place she has called home for most of her life. She not only lives in Hall County, but also is active in helping it grow, improve and change through her involvement with organizations such as the Junior League of Hall County, Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, Gainesville First United Methodist Church and her children’s PTA. Although passionate about design, her true passion is her family. Elizabeth and her husband Ryan are proud parents of their two beautiful children, Knowles and Carden, and their family dogs, Hoppy and Jake.
Anna is a lifelong Gainesville gal, and a recent graduate from the University of Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences in Furnishings and Interiors degree in May of 2018, and is proud to be an official member of the Bulldawg Nation. She joined the House Dressing team as an intern in the Spring of 2017 and has enjoyed being a part of the team ever since! She has a seamstress background in high-end home soft goods, as well as experience with being a personal business assistant.
Anna approaches Interior Design in a purposeful and personal manner. She feels that client’s spaces should be a direct reflection of their personalities and values, all while being highly functional and approachable. She believes that people’s environments can affect them in an emotional, physical, and mental way, and therefore, desires to design homes and spaces that positively impact every individual. She desires to create spaces that are not simply full of beautiful things, but that stimulate positive change, and inspire families and individuals to bloom and be the absolute best versions of themselves.
Anna has played the violin since the age of four and has been a private violin instructor since the age of 14. She has a high regard for music of all varieties, and enjoys teaching young musicians to appreciate and love music as well. She is an active member of her community and is a regular volunteer for the college ministry, youth ministry, and music ministry at Hopewell Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, fishing, sewing, drawing, and spending time with her family and friends. A few of her favorite things are strawberries, wildflowers, and the feeling of the afternoon sun on her face. Although she is passionate about all of these aspects of her life, she believes that her true purpose is found in her relationship with the Lord and therefore, strives to glorify Him in all that she does.
Janice has lived in Gainesville most of her life and has loved raising her children, Mills and Anna here. She and Travis, the Krystal guy have been married for 30+ years. Janice is a key member of the House Dressing team working part-time as office manager.

Design Project Manager
McKenna is quickly settling in as the newest member of the HDI team! A proud local of Gainesville, McKenna didn’t go far when it came time for college, attending the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. She graduated in 2016 with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Marketing degree and soon teamed up with a few different local businesses, working to strengthen them in all areas from buying/inventory management, merchandising and more.
After a few years, she found herself at a local community bank in a customer service role while waiting for the perfect opening in her dream field of interior design. A firm believer that God puts you in every place for a reason, McKenna will be the first to tell you that everything she has done leading up to now has prepared her for her position at House Dressing. She loves that every day she has the ability to combine organization and management with creativity and design. Tasked with keeping each project as orderly as possible, McKenna loves getting to work with both Anna and Elizabeth as well as each client to make sure their projects flow smoothly.
McKenna is a lover of traveling, good music and ice cold Coca Cola. She is happiest when surrounded by friends, family and good food! McKenna is a self-proclaimed “crazy dog lady” and dog mom to her spoiled two year old dachshund, Frankie.
Greeter & Child Entertainer
Hoppy joined the House Dressing team in June 2016 when she was old enough to know not to chew on things and hop on furniture, and her friendly tail wags have been greeting guests ever since.
While you are shopping or consulting with one of our designers, you are most likely to find Hoppy resting in her custom-made dog bed or begging for dog bones at Gainesville Paint. She also revels in the attention she receives from our customers, especially children. Hoppy loves coming to work with her mom and looks forward to seeing you in the shop soon.
Outside of the time she spends at House Dressing, Hoppy enjoys spending time on the lake with her family and playing with her brother, Knowles, sister, Carden, and puppy-brother, Jake.
